The Tenerife born Daniel Reyes brings his work to Mallorca.

Daniel Reyes, 27 years old, has made the leap from one archipelago to another, showcasing his latest work in Mallorca. A Fine Arts graduate from the University of La Laguna, Reyes is now exhibiting his newest collection on the island.

The exhibition by the artist from Punta del Hidalgo, titled “ENCUENTROS” (Encounters), features various pieces created using everyday elements from the world of surfing and its surroundings both material and conceptual.

Another key theme is the encounter of natural elements along the coastline. Wood, logs, buoys, and more are collected by the artist and transformed through his intervention, always respecting and merging with the layers shaped by the sea over time and space.

Backed by RVCA, this young artist has been inspired by travel since childhood a value deeply instilled in him by his family. From an early age, he had the opportunity to explore many countries with them. What began simply as discovering new destinations gradually evolved into something essential: a source of inspiration and encounters, whether during leisure trips or artistic journeys.

The exhibition is being held at Galería Marimón in Can Picafort, Mallorca a gallery with over 20 years of history and a nationally renowned presence. Daniel’s work will be on display until the end of March and has been warmly received in the Balearic Islands. The artist is thrilled, especially after selling ten paintings on the very first day.
